Leander - The TENNIS ACE

Guys, I wrote this blog immediately after watching the tennis matches played by India Vs Thailand, Japan. For your information, I’m not a sports guy. So it’s obvious that I do not know much about the rules, of any game. But I have interest (less) in watching few games like cricket, tennis….. I usually watch the matches at the last moment, and only if India takes the lead in any match.

Last night, I watched two tennis matches (of 15th ASIAN GAMES @ DOHA) played by India against Thailand & Japan. I was really IMPRESSED by looking at the AMAZING performance by Leander Paes.

The whole credit of lifting India should go to Leander. The matches were also played by Mahesh Bhupathi (India Vs Thailand) and Sania Mirza (India Vs Japan). The fascinating thing was Leander played in both the matches. But the other two’s performance was not really good compared to Leander’s. Every time Leander raised the score, Mahesh and Mirza would pull it down. I mean in their respective matches. Ok. Let’s not talk much about Mahesh and Mirza. We should also appreciate them for their moderate performance without which India would not have succeeded.

Every time when Leander was pulling his Japanese counterparts down, his style in expressing his joy was unique. This really inspired me. He was quite aggressive too [Leander has informed the press that he will not play with Mahesh on regular basis…This might be due to Mahesh’s underperformance]. But again it’s a sport right. I just don’t want to compare Leander with other top players in the world. His performance at Doha this year should be appreciated.

Finally, I would say, these guys who play with great energy should be paid more than we pay for cricketers.

Now I have become a big fan of

PROJECT YOURSELF HIGH

We might have known many morals in life. Of those

“Feel good within”

“Don't Let yourself down” are all common. Many stories would have been based on those morals. I would like to add my story with some beautification.

Here we go

Recently I spoke to my friend who is in UK for an onsite assignment. Hmmm...He heads his offshore team based in India. Usually this guy would be busy enough so that he would not even respond to my messages. But improbably, two days back, he wished to chat with me.

He started with ‘hi da Sarath….U there….’

[Censored the word with which he addressed me to make readers comfortable LOL. But he is my well wisher]

Had not got pissed off with this message, I said ‘Hi da…How r u doing?’

After done with discussing about our health, the weather….he posed a question ‘Any updates buddy?’

I took the chance to PROJECT MYSELF HIGH.

Having been enjoying life with my passion in blogging, leading a musical life with my MP3 player which Impiger offered, with the plans to take up my third challenging assignment at Impiger, I said, Buddy, I’m doing great. I also let him know all that I have listed above, that keeps me engaged right now.

After typing this message, I got back to my work of analyzing the bugs which I introduced in our last software release.

Few seconds later, the minimized Gtalk window lying on the taskbar glowed. I checked the new message which he had sent. It said

‘Yeee….Greatttt da….You are enjoying life….I have no words buddy….’

I said ‘dear, I thought I should not let my mind being idle…and which great people say that empty mind is devil’s workshop :) ’

I also added that, ‘da you are in UK…supposed to enjoy much’

His responses were like praising me and as if I have got everything right here. Of course, I have got things right here. Better I would say I have made up my mind to multiply things with what I have now. Since he was busy again, the conversation came to an end saying ‘dear, I have got work to do….will chat with you later’….adding fuel to the fire…I sent him the link which has our companies Annual Day celebration snaps...FYI…have not got the response yet :) :)

Now reason for bringing up the whole personal conversation here is to let you guys know my opinion of how the world would see you if you PROJECT YOURSELF HIGH and when you do not. Also, if you do not try to play around with new things, if you do not make noise in this world [Empty vessels make noise…But also it makes people to bother at least to look at the vessels and say ‘Hello, we are also there in this world’] cosmos will not recognize you for sure. Ultimately the recognition means a lot to your life.

Huh….my lappy battery is very hot......should allow it to take rest….

Now you guys drop yourself to musical instruments store…get a drum, a drumstick and make noise forever.

Please don’t folks….I want you guys to make noise like I play around with what I have.

Me - Wannabee Schmoozer [Infact -Trying to ]

Time has come for me to record my thoughts in digital form. I have been reading blogs of many people. Most of them are very interesting. The blogs also have been helping me to add new words to enrich my vocabs. I thought, enriching vocabs alone will not help me, but me blogging will elevate myself to great heights

In that course I would justify my effort of blogging with a few words

This medium lets us to embrace our creativity in various forms like

1. Titling a blog - Real fun
2. Squeezing your mind to add words at appropriate places
3. Most important thing is, this activity keeps our mind engaged so that we bypass evil thoughts

I value myself for having started this activity from now on. People can soon call me as schmoozer [Picked this from BIL's blog - Thanks Seeni] :)
